How Redirect Engine handles data in the app and on this website.
App privacy
- On-device: Your recipes and settings are stored on your devices.
- Private matching: Redirect matching happens on your device, so we do not see the pages you visit or collect your browsing history.
- iCloud sync: If you use Pro iCloud sync, Apple syncs your recipes through your iCloud account. We do not receive them.
- Purchases: Apple processes purchases. We process Apple-signed transaction information only to confirm app and Pro access, and do not receive your payment details.
- No tracking: Redirect Engine does not require an account, sell personal data, use advertising trackers, or collect app usage analytics.
Optional features
- AI Describe Recipe: The description you enter, app version, and platform are sent through our service to xAI’s Grok to create a draft recipe. Do not include personal or sensitive information. We do not use the description for advertising or profiling.
Website and support
- No website tracking: This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
- Hosting: Our hosting provider may process standard request data, such as your IP address, browser, requested page, and time of access, to deliver and protect the site.
- Contact form: If you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, message, and verification data so we can respond and prevent abuse.
- Retention: Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain necessary records. Technical request data is kept only as needed for security and reliability.
Services and your choices
- Service providers: We use Apple for purchases and iCloud, xAI for AI drafting, Bunny.net for website and API delivery, and Amazon Web Services for email delivery.
- International processing: These providers may process data outside Australia. We require providers handling user data to protect it consistently with this policy and use it only to provide their services.
- Your controls: You can avoid optional features, delete recipes, and turn off iCloud sync at any time.
- Privacy requests: To ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have sent, or to raise a privacy concern, use our contact form.
